A New Year, A New Look

Welcome to 2010!  Happy new year to you!  Welcome back to Digging Deep.  Another year on the blog has inspired me to change the look.  I hope you like it.

I have missed the consistency of blogging, but I can tell you that I do not know when I would have fit that into the Christmas schedule.

So, as the schedule resumes some semblance of normalcy, I am back into blogging.  Rob blessed me with an early birthday present last week, a new laptop that I have been wanting for so long!  I am enjoying learning its features and I am already spoiled by the speed.  Blogging shall be a wonderfully refreshed experience; hence one more reason to change the look of the blog page.

This year is filled with excitement for us as we prepare to release our youngest from the nest in May as David graduates from high school and more officially in August when we take him off to college (still to be revealed by God).  We’ll have one semester with two in college and then Robert will graduate from UGA in December and return to Columbus and home.  Already 2011 is a year to look forward to for us as Robert and Sigourney will be getting married (that date will be revealed, too, as God makes it clearer to them).

Anticipation; what a huge word that is riddled with importance for each one of us for so many different reasons.

It calls to my mind an important Scripture that I hope to really respect and take to heart all year long: Click on the verse address here, James 4:13-15.

Well, I hope those verses minister to you today, too.

Happy new year, happy new month, happy new day.  Come back tomorrow for some info on two local studies that kick off this week and some inspiration on setting realistic goals for getting into the Word on your own.
