Catching Up On Warfare

Thank you for bearing with me as I have taken the break from the blog for a bit.  Like all those b’s?  Well, there are a few more.  Stay with me.

What Began as writer’s Block turned into a full-Blown Battle of the spiritual kind.  No joke.  Lots of things have occurred in the last couple of weeks that have wiped me out spiritually, physically, and emotionally…most, too personal to share.

But, suffice it to say a Bout with a stomach Bug after driving to UGA to care for my oldest suffering with it first forced me into some much needed rest, even if for only 36 hours exchanging spots between my Bed and the sofa.  I have grown very attached to my cheetah-print Slanket and the warmth of a sweet dog, Beans,  spooning me.  How she, Rob, and David did not catch the Bug I will never understand.  That alone has Been a spoonful of hope in the midst of it all.  Hope and the Psalms have Been a source of Blessing during this time and I trust God will continue to remind me of His goodness through it all.

That Bug has Been the least of the Battles. They rage with a vengeance.

So, let’s pray that writer’s Block has come to an end whether the Battle has or not.

I’ve missed you.   I’m Back Because God has my Back!

  1. Hey! I’ve been thinking about you and praying for you. God has had you on my mind for whatever ails you! I will continue to pray for God to lift you and to wrap you in His arms! Love you!

  2. I felt the same way last week as I was battling a fever and horrible cold. It seriously threw me off. Sometimes sickness is a good thing because it forces me to step back and take a rest other times it serves as a stumbling block.

  3. Bless your heart!! Hope you feel better and better with each day. You are always missed. Always in my prayers. I can’t imagine how much warfare a Teacher of God’s wonderful word has to battle. So I lift you up my friend each day in prayer.

    Love Ya,
    Frannie
