Day 24

Before entering college I decided on Vocational Home Economics as my major at Auburn University.  At one point I contemplated attending the University of Florida and majoring in music therapy.  I can get much medicine from some good praise and worship music.  I strongly believe there is a direct relationship between our state of mind, soul, and spirit and the music to which we listen.  As I was getting ready for church Sunday, I had my iPod tuned to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir’s Light of the World cd.  As often happens when I am studying a specific thing in the Word, God blesses me with a song that relates.  If you have time, you might want to click on the one-play listen here. Listen carefully and be blessed by the lyrics.  I have a feeling you might like the whole album!

May your mind, soul, and spirit be ministered to this day.  Contemplate the King.

  1. Sister! I was thinking on the way into work this morning that music, especially at Christmas, is one of my favorite things. Even though my decorating at home is light, the music flows from radio, stereo, and computer. This weekend I’ll be attending two different Christmas Music offerings!

BTW,I’m continually impressed with your internet skills! I love the lala site!

    Blessings! Louann (TN)
