“Why are you downcast, O my soul?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.”
Psalm 42:5-6 (NIV)

Well, it’s been almost a week and most of you are pressing on through this week’s lesson. I’ve tried to contact all of you in the group to see how you were doing. After talking with most of you I think this picture of some flowers in our house is a good description of the group. Most of you are up to the challenge and ready to show up Thursday. A few of you are what I will call “downcast daisies”.

Perhaps this verse summarizes your experience in trying to read Hebrews enough to determine a book theme and chapter themes. But read all of it because it’s going to get better. You just have to put your hope in Him. You will yet praise Him! Amen? Oh yeah, amen!

Then we’ll go get Chinese food to celebrate. They know the ladies who do Bible study are coming over. Cute.
