Idea of the Day

Good Monday morning! Let’s be praying for those in the Houston/Galveston area who suffered damage from Ike. I cannot fathom what it would be like to have to deal with the aftermath. They could really use our prayers. If you have family there, please comment below so we can have their names to specifically pray for them.

The heading for the day deals with an idea I have. Many in our Bible study are “women on the road”. They haul children hither and yon and I commend you if you are one of them for getting any Bible study done! I noticed the other day, on my way to Bible study, a truck that advertises as it is moving. Mind you, I find it very distracting…like texting or photographing while driving. I’m guilty. But, because I have seen the truck and its green brother around town I’m thinking about getting our Hebrews observation worksheets posted on it. What do you think? While you’re riding around town and come upon one of them, you circle the wagons around it and do your Bible study homework on the go. While I was driven to distraction the other day, I got close enough to snap a picture with my cell phone.

See how all three sides could have a rolling observation worksheet on it? I’ll even go so far as to have the markings of key words on there, too! What do you say?

Yeah, pretty crazy, I know. Stay tuned for the next idea…

Don’t forget, after Bible study this week, we’re going to invade the Mellow Mushroom and spread the love of Jesus around on some poor unsuspecting server.

Love ya’ll!

  1. You shouldnt be using your cell phone while driving!!! Pay attention to the road. I can already feel our insurance rates going up. 🙂

  2. Sorry Honey! If I could just get the blue tooth to take the picture as I turn my ear toward something worthy of capturing for posterity, that would solve the problem. In the meantime, I’ll try to not use the phone while on the move.
