Photo Challenge Day 9

I took a break a little while ago to go outside and complete today’s SITSgirls photo challenge of shooting things in motion. Even though we live across from a busy park, I preferred the soothing sound of running water in our fountains out back. And I was not all that confident that just anybody would appreciate a strange woman capturing their sweaty running essence and posting it on a blog. Ha!

Following a couple of the tips posted on the informative blog mentioned above, I set my camera to what I think was appropriate settings and took lots of pictures only to realize when I got back into the air conditioned house a pesky piece of pine straw had photo bombed my plethora of fountain shots. Out the door I went again and this time removed said pine straw and a leaf, found a couple of better angles and ended up getting both fountains in one of the pictures.

Then, by just moving the camera a tad to the left, I was able to get this shot of the same fountain and one further in the distance at the wall:
