Squeaking My Wheel

“They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”
– Isaiah 61:3 (NIV)

I have never done this since starting the blog, but today changes all that. I am inviting you to an event.

I have the blessed fortune to have been asked by some sisters in the Lord to come to their church Saturday, October 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.to lead them in a Ladies’ Day Apart. It will be a time to gather together in the Word and be ministered to in song as well with The Difference Ministries.

When they asked me to speak for them in April/May I had no idea what the topic would be, but once God pointed it out one weekend in the mountains it was determined and the wheels were set in motion. The topic in a “nutshell” is based on one of my favorite passages in the whole Bible, Isaiah 61:1-3, being “an oak of righteousness for God’s glory”. I’ll take you through the Word and apply it to us today, women of the Word living in the world hoping to glorify God through our lives and callings.

So, all that to say, I would absolutely be loving it if some, really all, of you could come. There will be food for the stomach and food for the Spirit! They’ve even planned door prizes! They’ve worked hard to put this thing together and I’d love for them to have a great turn out.

Click here for more information. You’ll need to purchase a ticket at their church office. That information is located at the link back there.

Whether you can come or not, I would appreciate your prayers for this event and all those attending.

  1. Sister! I saw the flyer at Mother’s. She loved your pic! This will be such a blessing to all who hear. I will be thinking of you and wishing I could be there to participate and support you. Love you!

  2. Now that’s what I call bragging for the Lord, Great Job!

  3. Wish I could be there!
