Stop and Smell the Rosemary

I have a cookbook with the same name as today’s post title. I highly recommend it. I couldn’t resist the book because of its title and its cover. Also, rosemary is one of my favorite herbs. It is the herb of remembrance, supposedly, and I have some growing in our herb garden. Sometimes I go outside to rub my fingers across its leaves and smell its fragrance. Aaaaah.

Today’s post is brief because we are headed to the beach by the same name as my favorite herb. The guys and I are going on a short weekend jaunt and I intend to pack light and take the magazines I picked up yesterday at Barnes and Noble as well as a good book and the Good Book. You see that red building on the street corner? We’ll be having dinner al fresco there (Onano is the name of the restaurant) this evening on the sidewalk. They serve a mean cup of coffee following a delightful dinner.

Once we return home, Rob, David and I are going on another college tour adventure and this time it includes some colleges in Georgia. We will return from that a couple of days later. All that to say, the blog may be bare for a few days. Try not to miss it too much. If I’m up to it, I may post quick bits from the phone, but don’t hold your breath.

Well, I better go and grab that gallon jug of sunscreen.

Hug yourselves!
