The End of the Internet

I have a neat thing on my computer thingy at the top that has tabs for places I visit on the internet often.  One of them is a “Next” tab.  This one syncs with my Google Reader (my own customized newspaper of favorite blogs I visit each day).

At the end of all new blog posts and updates, the screen changes to an announcement that I am at the end of the internet.  Somebody pays for it to say that and they have a link you can click on to nothing important.  Whoever owned that domain before had it set up to say, “so go do something constructive, like read a book.”  I liked that.

I thought being at the end of the internet was a true feat until Robert informed me of the drill.  Oh well.  Suffice it to say that I’m easily thrilled.  Poor me.  LOL!

I think it would be impossible to visit every internet site.  I’m sure someone has figured out how many new sites pop up each minute in the world.  It’s probably mind-boggling.

Something more pertinent and relevant to real life in the real world is the concept of God’s love, which is infinite.

I need to be reminded of His love today.  Do you?

Nothing can separate us from the love of God. (Romans 8:38-39)
It is steadfast.  (Psalm 36:7; Deuteronomy 7:9)
He provided Christ for us even though we don’t deserve him (Romans 5:8; John 3:16)

What are some of your favorite verses about God’s love for His own?  I sure could use your input today.

  1. I meant to write this morning, but time got away from me. Years ago I memorized Psalm 23. While it doesn’t speak of love directly, it is always a comfort to me in showing how much He cares about everything in my life. -Linda

  2. I so enjoy reading your blog! God bless you abundantly!!
