Packing can be a challenge. When I take a plane, I try to pack better than the last time I flew so I have lots of room for souvenirs in my suitcase for the return flight.
When I travel in the car with the family, I take way more than I will ever need in my suitcase AND I take too many totes filled with books, needlework, books, Bible study, books, and my iPod. Did I mention books?
Recently, Rob got me (translated, “I bought with his money”) a cute canvas tote with braided handles and ribbon trim at BFF at the Galleria Riverside. That’s my “Off to Chemo I Go” tote. Inside I have my Bible, my iPod, the laptop, stationery, pens, a notebook, Bible study stuff for the week, a few toiletries, needlework, water, socks, and a lap blanket. It’s a happy bag filled with good things to make the time fly. It was not a difficult bag to pack. It’s kind of a summary of what I like to do in my spare time anyway.
I will put that tote to use soon. I’m glad I have it. It’s going to come in handy!
